Congratulations to Dr Ibrahim Aminu on receipt of Marie Curie Fellowship
Dr Ibrahim Saana Aminu awarded Marie Skłodowska -Curie (MSCA) Fellowships
Ibrahim Saana Aminu’s project will focus on the development of novel porous graphite cathodes with chemically tuneable-architecture (surface morphology, pore-hierarchy, rigidity and conductivity) for advanced rechargeable aluminium-ion batteries (AlBs). The key challenges hampering the progress of AlBs will be addressed at the interface of Materials Science and Electrochemistry, and establish a better understanding of the battery chemistry with the view of device-relevant design. His project is titled; “Novel porous graphite as cathodes for advanced aluminium-ion batteries“and his supervisor is Prof. Kevin M Ryan.
